Overview
As students move through this Applied Physiology program at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) they will work closely with a specific faculty mentor. Students are strongly encouraged to reach out to potential faculty mentors in order establish an understanding of suitability ahead of making an application.
What you'll study
The open curriculum allows faculty mentors to tailor the student’s program of study to meet individual goals and research agendas. The program of study may include courses in other departments to enhance specialized knowledge, research practicum experiences off campus to broaden skill sets, and independent studies to develop self-sufficiency. Contingent upon agreement with the faculty mentor, students may be able to complete a Thesis.

- 3 letters of reference

- Applicants wishing to be considered for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship should include an additional statement of relevant teaching experience and/or proficiency in human anatomy, physiology, or nutrition laboratory work.
