General requirements
- Admission to The University of Tulsa Graduate School. Requirements for admission to the Graduate School, including language proficiency, may be found in the Admission section of this Bulletin.
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree from The University of Tulsa.
- Undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Satisfactory completion of prerequisite coursework or equivalent with a letter grade of C or higher. Required prerequisites may be found in admission requirements for the M.A.T. programme.
- Completion of 50 hours of observation with a certified and appropriately state-credentialed athletic trainer.
- Two letters of recommendation: one from the athletic trainer verifying observation experience and one from a professor
- Compliance with health and safety requirements as outlined in the Athletic Training, M.A.T., programme requirements.
