General requirements

Admission to The University of Tulsa Graduate School. Requirements for admission to the Graduate School, including language proficiency, may be found in the Admission section of this Bulletin.
Completion of a baccalaureate degree from The University of Tulsa.
Undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Satisfactory completion of prerequisite coursework or equivalent with a letter grade of C or higher. Required prerequisites may be found in admission requirements for the M.A.T. programme.
Completion of 50 hours of observation with a certified and appropriately state-credentialed athletic trainer.
Two letters of recommendation: one from the athletic trainer verifying observation experience and one from a professor
Compliance with health and safety requirements as outlined in the Athletic Training, M.A.T., programme requirements.
