Research and Faculty

Research in the Department of Design and Merchandising includes technology related applications on garments, consumer behavior, labeling, eye tracking, sustainability and more. Our laboratories feature virtual and augmented reality software and equipment, including eye-tracker and psychophysiological equipment and 3D printing capabilities. The Gerber Technology Fashiontech Design and Development Center houses cutting-edge, computer-aided design programs, cutters, printers and digitizers.
