Overview

The graduate students of the Dietetics Research at Oklahoma State University will gain a fundamental understanding and application of research- and evidence-based recommendations used in dietetics and nutritional sciences. After successful completion of the program, students will have experience translating research to more effectively communicate with individuals and communities and be eligible to take the Registration Exam for Dietitians.

Curriculum

All students take core classes in macronutrients, micronutrients, advanced nutrition therapy and nutrition research. Students may choose between a thesis or non-thesis plan in this 36-hour program. Students also work with an advisor to design an individualized program to fit their interests.
