Found within the Visual Communications Department, the M.S. in multimedia, photography and design is an immersive 18-month experience, including six months to dive deeper to finish your master’s project. We’ll provide you with a foundation in your chosen track—photography, cinematography or graphic design— while providing the opportunity to learn an expansive skillset to prepare you for the multidisciplinary industry. This flexible Multimedia, Photography and Design programme from Syracuse University ensures you’re prepared for the dynamic demands of today’s industry.

Photography: Hone your skills as a photojournalist, documentary photographer or commercial photographer. Capture the essence of life through your lens, telling stories that inform, inspire and evoke emotion.

Cinematography: Master the art of filmmaking, from lighting and camera work to editing and post-production. Bring your stories to life on the screen, captivating audiences with your cinematic vision.

Graphic Design: Explore the world of graphic design, immersive design or motion design. Create visually stunning and user-friendly experiences for print, web, interactive and immersive media.
