About the Program
The Data Science program of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) differentiates itself by offering a dual-framework in Statistical and Computational methods to advance the knowledge base in the areas of Analytics and Modeling, Data Engineering, Deep Neural Networks, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Taught by pioneering faculty and researchers in the field of data science, students will be part of the only computational focused schools in the UC system and gain valuable hands-on experience through our industry partnered Capstone Project.

Guided by the philosophy that Career Development is a lifelong process of exploration and decision making, the Career Development Team provides comprehensive career and professional development services designed to empower students and recent graduates in making informed career choices. We support students to develop career readiness skills, refine career goals and build professional networks through coordinated services and effective partnerships with faculty, staff, employers and alumni.
