Overview
Boston University's Asian Legal Studies program is available only to qualified third-year students, and instruction is offered entirely in English. Enrollment only occurs for this program in the fall semester. At the end of the year, students will receive the BU Law JD and the LLM degree from NUS.
Key facts
To be eligible for the program, BU Law students will need to complete four terms of residency, as well as complete their upper-class writing, professional responsibility, and practical skills requirements prior to departure. There are no prerequisites for the program. Students who complete this program are awarded 26 units toward their JD: 24 units for two terms of full-time coursework, plus a 2-unit independent paper supervised by a BU Law professor.
