General requirements

Applicants to graduate programs or certificates at the University of South Florida must meet minimum requirements.

Colleges may weigh program rigor in admissions, and additional documents are often required. A bachelor’s degree must satisfy one of the following: a “B” average (3.00/4.00) or better in all undergraduate work toward the baccalaureate, or a “B” average in graduate work toward a graduate degree.

A statement of purpose indicating reasons for applying to the program, pertinent personal and professional dispositions or experiences and/or credentials relevant to working with children.

Two letters of recommendation (professional/academic reference letters and contact information from individuals who can attest to academic accomplishments.

A current resume.
