Key facts

The Biomedical Engineering program at Georgia Institute of Technology 30 credit hours beyond the bachelor's degree. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available. Courses are offered all three terms; however, full-time students planning to complete the MS degree in 12 months should start their programs in the fall semester.

Students completing both a bachelor’s and master’s in biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech may use up to six credit hours of graduate-level coursework in the major discipline for both degrees. Students still must complete all other course requirements for both degrees.
