General requirements

A baccalaureate degree in Journalism or related field from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better in the last two years (60 hours) of undergraduate work or a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better in all undergraduate work attempted toward the baccalaureate degree. Applicants whose undergraduate GPA is lower than a 3.00 may present professional experience in journalism or a related field for consideration.
