The Master’s in Digital Journalism and Design can be completed all online or in a combined format (a combination of face-to-face and online classes). However, the program is very flexible and conducive to working professionals who may need more time to complete their coursework. This master’s degree is designed to be completed in one year, or over a fall, a spring and a summer semester. (Working professionals may want to take longer to complete it.) It will prepare recent graduates or practicing professionals to excel in the exciting field of digital journalism and in other media- or communication-related fields.

A baccalaureate degree in Journalism or related field from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better in the last two years (60 hours) of undergraduate work or a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better in all undergraduate work attempted toward the baccalaureate degree.
