Overview

Teaching and Leadership - Teaching (Elementary Education) from Pittsburg State University focuses on preparing licensed elementary teachers to move from novice teacher to Master Teacher. This program is also open to those who do not have a teaching license, but want to learn about pedagogy and teaching young children.

Our professors teach students how to bring their passion for teaching children to the classroom in order to become the teacher that their students will remember the rest of their lives.

Careers

Your time in the Elementary Education program will lead to a Kindergarten through Grade 6 teaching license. And by adding one of our innovative and hands-on minors, you can add an endorsement to your teaching license or certificate in
