Features
The Family Nurse Practitioner program at the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute builds on the undergraduate foundation and develops advanced assessment, planning and evidence-based competence through theoretical understanding and practical application to primary care practice. The program also provides a strong foundation for doctoral study and research.
Clinical expertise is acquired through clinical placements in a variety of public, private, and community based primary care agencies. Students will complete 800 hours of clinical practice.
