Students who complete the prescribed course of study at the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) will be awarded a Master of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (MAOM) degree upon completion of its requirements. 

The states that regulate and license professional acupuncturists recognize this degree as meeting requisite academic credential requirements for sitting for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) licensure exam. 

The Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Med is a 4-year degree program emphasizing traditional Chinese medicine, integrative approaches, and evidence-based research.

The MAOM program’s graduate placement rate is over 80%. Many of our graduates have opened their own practice, begun working in hospitals and wellness centers, and are involved in research and teaching. We also offer the opportunity for recent graduates to apply into our college professional clinic. This will allow you to start seeing patients and building your practice without incurring any overhead costs.
