Overview
It offers graduate students the opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary and individualized course of study that will best meet the student’s professional goals. Graduates will demonstrate the ability to apply evidence-based interventions in the education and treatment of health challenges in populations. In addition, students will develop the skills needed to define, advocate and affect change in health policy.
The mission of the Cedar Crest College Master in Nutrition is to develop leaders in the field of health promotion and disease prevention by providing the educational experiences that provide the opportunity for you to gain the competencies and skills needed to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate health programming to meet the needs of diverse populations locally, nationally and globally.

The 36 credit curriculum can be completed in three 12 week semesters (for students enrolled full time (9 credits / semester) less than 18 months).

General requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Completion of prerequisite coursework which includes Anatomy & Physiology I and II and Principles of Nutrition prior to entry into the program.
- A GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in upper-division, undergraduate coursework or graduate degree
- Two letters of recommendation attesting to the student's abilities to successfully engage in graduate level studies.
- Current resume
- Application Goal Statement describing your professional ambitions, motivation for seeking the Master in Nutrition, career goals, Practicum and or Thesis interest, and timeline for completion.
