Overview
The Education - Human Resource Development program at the University of Findlay states that businesses today are recognizing the importance of employee development and training. There's an increasing demand for human resource professionals who can design and implement training programs and establish a learning dynamic for the entire organization. The University of Findlay has responded to this demand by creating a highly marketable major tailored to both traditional and non-traditional students.
Outcomes
Building on the strong foundation of the Master of Arts in Education Program, the Human Resource Development Strand features courses with a focus on employee education. They will provide you with the knowledge base, skills, training and practical experience necessary to work in a variety of settings.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 7 percent increase in positions for training and development managers from 2014 - 2024. That equates to 2,300 jobs that will need to be filled in this profession alone. Additionally, our graduates are prepared for positions in online instruction, workforce development, adult curriculum design, athletic administration and many other roles in adult and continuing education.

- Graduate applicants to the University of Findlay are students who have completed the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor’s degree at either a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education in their home country.
