Thank you for visiting Widener University’s Counselor Education program, an ideal place to pursue your graduate education.
Our program attracts current education professionals who are seeking a master's degree or an additional certification in K-12 school counseling or student services in higher education. We are also an option for those seeking a career change to the counseling profession in schools or higher education.
After graduating and earning a passing score on the PRAXIS exam, you will be eligible for Pennsylvania K–12 school counselor certification. With supplemental coursework, eligibility for licensure as a professional counselor is also an option.
