Learning outcomes
At Special Education - Moderate Disabilities (5-12) and Severe Disabilities Lesley University, we believe in the right to a quality education for all students. We prepare educators who have the skills to empower those with disabilities so they can live self-determined lives.
Here, you’ll study the characteristics and effects of disabling conditions. Explore issues in speech, language, and communication, and assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication. Discover how to develop a variety of strategies for adapting curriculum, and apply those strategies during your student teaching experience.
