Overview

This Elementary Education program at College of Charleston will provide you with the academic and practical experience you’ll need to launch a rewarding, new career teaching children in grades two through six.

Key Features

You will be required to complete 39 credit hours, which will include a variety of experiences in public elementary schools, between June 1 and July of the following year.

We will prepare you with the pedagogy necessary to develop the emotional and intellectual abilities of children in grades two through six.

The program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
