If you have an undergraduate business degree, complete 30 credits to earn your master’s degree in accounting, which can be finished in one year. If you are making a career shift, you need to complete six additional credits in business, including economics, to fulfill the degree requirements and be prepared to take the CPA exam and become a licensed accountant.
