This program is designed to meet the needs of three distinct groups:

Students with a baccalaureate degree in Information Systems

Students with a baccalaureate degree in another area, who have information systems skills and desire to develop a new career in Information Systems

Students with a baccalaureate degree in another area, who lack information systems skills and desire to develop new career skills in Information Systems

Program Objectives

Students in our program will:

Design scalable, robust, network solutions based on business/organizational needs.

Identify appropriate information technologies to support the strategic and operational goals of an organization.

Design scalable, robust, database solutions based on business/organizational needs.

Apply systems development methodologies that allow them to analyze and develop appropriate solutions to businesses/organizations.

Interpret and apply discipline related academic/practitioner literature.

GRE scores required if GPA is below 3.0

Submit online graduate admissions application

Pay a $50 non-refundable processing fee

Submit a statement of purpose of 600 words or less

A transcript evaluation must be completed by an approved agency which includes all previous academic course work, as well as a complete description of courses and overall GPA (course-by-course evaluation)

International applicants are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as a part of the application process

Required of students studying on-campus, in the U.S. only: To obtain a Form I-20 for your studies at Tarleton, you must demonstrate that you have sufficient funding
