The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering offers the Master of Science in Operations Research at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).

Due to program size constraints, we cannot guarantee that all applications submitted by the Regular Decision deadline will be considered for admission for the applied semester. However, all qualified applicants will be considered for enrollment in the following semester.

  • Georgia Tech considers you an international applicant if you are neither a U.S. citizen nor a U.S. permanent resident, regardless of where in the world you live.  
  • The admissions criteria applied in evaluating international applicants are essentially the same as those for U.S. citizens. All application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, must be submitted online and in English. You are also required to submit an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score.  
  • International and domestic candidates that have relocated to the state of Georgia for purposes of full-time employment, as well as their spouses, may qualify for a waiver of the non-Georgia resident.
