Learning outcomes
It requires completion of forty-eight hours of graduate credit and may meet academic requirements for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). The program at Sam Houston State University is designed to comply with existing Texas Education Agency standards for professional certification, but students are encouraged to check the state licensing rules for changes in the requirements.
