Communication at West Texas A&M University strives to help students meet career goals by helping them choose courses both inside and outside the department to provide a broad base of skills. Students gain experience through internships and professional activities.

Students may choose a thesis or non-thesis route. All students build a strong research and theoretical foundation while developing applicable skills within areas of study such as corporate communication, media communication, cultural studies, rhetoric, public relations and performance.

- Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher (GRE required unless students have a 3.0 or above GPA

- Three letters of recommendation from a faculty member, supervisor or other professional colleague. Recommender information must be provided on your applicant portal.
