The Master of Nonprofit Leadership & Management (MNLM) degree, within the ASU School of Community Resources and Development, is intended for professionals who work in or desire to work in the nonprofit sector. The program provides an opportunity to obtain an advanced degree that addresses the unique character of nonprofit organizations and the social sector.

About

Students who complete the degree gain leadership skills and knowledge in topics such as the management of human resources (both paid and volunteer), fundraising, program evaluation, fiscal management, and governance in nonprofit organizations. The degree allows graduates enhanced recognition and credentials similar to students who have graduate degrees in administration or management.

Completion of the Master of Nonprofit Leadership & Management graduate degree - on the average - requires approximately two years of study. Students take core required courses and select from a wide variety of elective courses under the advisement of an assigned faculty member. Students will complete the degree by taking the capstone course that integrates and synthesizes material from prior courses.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
