The Master of Nonprofit Leadership & Management (MNLM) degree Arizona State University provides an opportunity to obtain an advanced degree that addresses the unique character of nonprofit organizations and the social sector. Students interested in nonprofit management and social sector organizations explore both theory and the practice of management and leadership in the nonprofit sector. Students who complete the degree gain leadership skills and knowledge in topics such as the management of human resources (both paid and volunteer), fundraising, program evaluation, fiscal management, and governance in nonprofit organizations.     PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

  • Apply for admission to Graduate Admissions. There is an online application. You will be required to pay a $70 nonrefundable application fee (non-U.S. citizen fee is $90).
  • Minimum GPA requirement for bachelor's degree must be equivalent to a "B" average.
  • In the online application process, you will be required to submit a written professional statement
  • The online application will require three letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts must be submitted to Graduate Admissions.
  • You must provide proof of Measles Immunization if you applied to an in-Person program.
