With small class sizes, engaged faculty, and a thriving community both online and off, University of Alaska Fairbanks’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) helps students build skills and gain hands-on experience in marketing, finance, strategy, organizational behavior, and more.

Choose from one of two concentrations: general management or STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Students may also tailor their degree by selecting from a list of approved electives offered through the MBA, Master of Security and Disaster Management (MSDM) and UAS’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.

Apply online. Applications must be received before the published deadlines, along with a $75 nonrefundable application fee. Applications submitted after the published deadlines are only accepted upon a department's request and have a $100 nonrefundable application fee.

Submit official GRE or GMAT test scores. Not all departments require GRE or GMAT scores if the student has earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Submit a copy of the passport identification page.

Complete UAF’s financial statement form and provide supporting documentation showing adequate funding to cover all expenses at UAF.1
