Our Master of Public Management degree (M.P.M.) is a program offered by Indiana University Kokomo designed to prepare our students for executive leadership positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. We combine quality academics with individual attention from dedicated faculty.

Our Public Management program at Indiana University Kokomo provides students with the skills to cope with challenging human and technical issues as public service managers. It also provides a broad interdisciplinary background in the values and ethics of public and health care management.

While the degree is housed in the School of Business for administrative purposes, it is exempt from AACSB review due to its relatively low level of business content.

What to expectIn the classroom

The M.P.M. program can be completed on either a full-time or part-time basis. Most coursework for the program is offered in the evenings to allow students to work full time and participate in the M.P.M. program part time. To meet the needs of our diverse student population, the program delivers graduate courses in a variety of ways: online, on campus, and hybrid. The core classes within the M.P.M. program are regularly offered on a rotating basis during the fall and spring semesters. The courses for each of the two M.P.M. tracks are offered on a rotating basis during the summer semesters.
