The M.S.A.T. Professional Athletic Training Program from Ohio University provides students the ability to combine knowledge and skills learned in the classroom with the experiences gained at a variety of clinical sites.

Taught by renowned faculty, Ohio University has nearly 50 years of experience in preparing athletic trainers. Our alumni are found in every setting across the nation and internationally.

Clinical education allows students to be involved in patient care. Working with preceptors, students help provide supervised health care services to athletes involved in Ohio University intercollegiate athletics, Ohio University club sports, local high schools, clinics, and hospitals. During the second year, students will complete two immersive experiences that are at least 8 weeks long.

Bachelor's degree: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent.
GRE: If all academic requirements are met, the GRE is not required for admission.
The observation hour requirement is waived for Fall 2021 admissions
