Overview
At Science Education from University of Oklahoma recent graduates of our graduate programs teach science at all grade levels (PK-20), work as curriculum developers, serve as curriculum directors for their local school districts, work as professional development experts, and are on faculty as science educators at universities throughout the world. Science education continues to be a high-need area and, as such, graduates from this program are in high-demand at both the PK-12 school level and in higher education.

- Minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate work.
- Submission of a written statement of career goals addressing (a) your goals/plans for your degree program and (b) your goals/plans for your career in science education.
- An initial interview with the science education program faculty to discuss the application and to describe the general structure of the program.
