Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the MEd Academically or Intellectually Gifted program from University of North Carolina Wilmington will be expected to have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the following areas:

Demonstrate a breadth of general knowledge in the field of gifted education and talent development.

Demonstrate a well-articulated knowledge of K-12 communities and issues affecting the gifted and talented population.

Demonstrate effective communication skills that can be utilized when interacting with stakeholders including colleagues, administrators, families, and community members.
