Overview
The intent of the School Counseling program from Montana State University Billings is to prepare individuals to work with elementary and secondary students (K-12 OPI licensure) in a professional, compassionate manner to promote positive intellectual, behavioral, and emotional change. A student can arrange a plan of study that includes almost entirely online courses.
One exception to this are four classes (taken two at a time) that meet in the summer and are taken in a blended/online format. These courses involve coming to campus for one weekend during each of two consecutive summers. Individually designed plans of study allow for flexible completion of the program.
