General requirements
- When all of the Graduate School’s application materials have been received, they are reviewed by the Social Studies Education program faculty. The faculty may request additional materials from applicants before making a recommendation on the application. The faculty make a recommendation to the Department of Math, Science, and Social Studies graduate coordinator, who in turn makes a recommendation to the Graduate School. The final decision on admissions is made by the Graduate School. Applicants and the department will receive notification directly from the Graduate School concerning a decision on acceptance.
- Candidates should have a minimum 2.5 GPA on undergraduate or previous graduate work.
