About this Degree
The Music Education (M.M.Ed.) online program at the University of Georgia prepares certified teachers to assume professional leadership roles in such activities as curriculum design, mentorship, and teacher research. Informed by the latest methods and techniques, courses include interactive discussions and seminars to create and share innovative teaching strategies.
Completion of the degree leads to T-5 level Georgia Teacher Certification in music and serves as a foundation for those interested in pursuing future doctoral work or higher education careers.
