Areas of interest are Historical Geography, Human-Environment interactions, and Remote Sensing. Regionally the Great Plains has been, and is, a persistent focus. Interdisciplinary work is encouraged, and we work closely with the School of Natural Resources, especially the Center for Advanced Land Management Technologies (CALMIT), Community and Regional Planning, and the Center for Great Plains Studies.
