The Department of Educational Psychology, Special Education, and Communication Disorders is a unit of the College of Education & Human Development at Georgia State University, which is a member of the University System of Georgia. This program prepares graduates to pursue a variety of careers, including research, evaluation, and the enhanced practice of a number of disciplines. For example, students who are certified or licensed in teaching, nursing, speech pathology, or physical therapy enrich their practice by understanding the science of learning and behavioral change.
