A student seeking a master's degree form the Quantitative and Computational Finance program at Georgia Institute of Technology must have a bachelor's degree and typically one earned in engineering, science, mathematics, or some other field that provides an adequate background for the successful completion of one of ISyE's programs.

- Quantitative aptitude - To handle the quantitative rigor of the QCF program, you must have a working knowledge of calculus. This is typically satisfied by having taken most of the following recommended courses:
- Calculus I, II, & III
- Linear Algebra
- Probability & Statistics
- Differential Equations
- Programming experience - Programming experience is strongly preferred in one or more of the following: Python, R, C++, SAS, or other relevant languages.
- Statement of Purpose (no more than 1 page)
- Short-answer questions (maximum two paragraphs)
- GRE or GMAT score
- Letters of Recommendation
- Application Fee - To apply, you will be assessed a fee of $95 for domestic candidates and $105 for international candidates
