Description
The Caroline Gordon Theatre Scholarship was established through a bequest of Caroline Gordon in 2004. The scholarship provides scholarship support for students majoring in theatre at Illinois State University. Ms. Gordon was a retired Illinois State staff member who passed away January 2004.
Benefits
The benefits and monetary value of the scholarship are unknown. The amount of the award will be determined by the Director of the School of Theatre in consultation with the Foundation.
Eligibility
- The scholarship will be awarded to a dance or theatre major who is a "rising" senior and who has earned 75 or more university credit hours by December 30 of the school year in which the selction is made.
- Candidate must meet the following criteria: Active participation in School of Theatre production program, provide outstanding service to School of Theatre, and demonstrate outstanding leadership within School of Theatre.
