Description

Sophie’s Silver Lining Fund was set up by the parents of Sophie Large when she tragically died in a car accident at the age of nineteen in 1998. She had been passionately interested in both acting and singing and was about to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe when the accident happened. As a result, it was decided to set up the Fund in her memory specifically to support students of acting and singing, particularly those facing financial hardship. Patrons of the Fund include Central alumna Dame Judi Dench.
