University of the Potomac was originally established in 1989 as Potomac Educational Foundation to operate an educational institution of higher learning. In 1991, it became Potomac College, a two-year, upper division degree-completion institution in Rockville, Maryland serving working adults who were currently employed and were seeking to complete their college degrees.

Learn more about the Global Student Satisfaction AwardsCatering to women ages 18 to 34, this residence hall offers single rooms with shared laundry facilities, bathrooms, library, living room and garden. This hall is located in the Capital Hill area, which is only around three miles from our campus. Breakfast and dinner Monday through Saturday are included in the rental fee, in addition to brunch on Sunday.
