History
The University of Baltimore was founded in 1925 as a private institution. Its founders were a group of Baltimore civic leaders who wanted to provide low-cost, part-time evening study in business and law for working adults. Its first site was at the southeast corner of St. Paul and Mt. Vernon Place with a class of 62 law students and 114 business students.

The UB Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement is your resource for student clubs. The Merrick School of Business works closely with the clubs that are aligned with business disciplines.
The Student Center aims to provide a place where students can gather to study, socialize and to take advantage of university student services. In addition, it is a place where the whole University community (faculty, staff, alumni and guests) can gather to develop the educational process beyond the classroom.
