Antioch University’s roots began as Antioch College. It first opened its doors in 1852 in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Antioch’s first president, Horace Mann, was a lawyer and Congressman from Massachusetts, a well-known abolitionist and social reformer. He is considered the founder of public education in the United States, believing that a well-educated populace was essential to a strong democracy.

Housing services

This position will serve as the point of contact for all campus facility and safety needs. Responsibilities include: overseeing the front desk, building maintenance needs, campus safety, and campus security operations. 

Library services

Antioch University Library is a network of libraries, librarians, and staff supporting programs and research across our five campus locations as well as in online and low residency programs. The Library provides a strong, central core of services and resources while preserving remarkable and distinct local collections. Antioch University students are welcome to study and browse.

ICT services

To promote the effective use of technology in teaching and learning within Antioch’s learning communities. At Antioch, technology has the potential to foster our work together as students, faculty, staff, and administration.

Student Life

Campus life

The manager serves as the liaison between the campus and the property manager, building/facility/equipment/security services and participates in the University Resource Group (URG) related to Safety and other relevant issues. This position also collaborates with campus Administration, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is an independent corporation that was founded in 1895 as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. HLC accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central region.
