Education

The ISB curriculum is enriched through input provided by corporations. This association allows the School to foster stimulating business-academic partnerships for teaching and research. We also engage business leaders and entrepreneurs to conduct discussions and workshops throughout the academic year in order to expose students to industry perspectives.

Research

  • Research Is At The Core Of The Isb.The faculty at the ISB follow the tenure track much like their counterparts in top business schools worldwide. 
  • The ISB was the first B-School in India to introduce this system, which encourages and rewards high-quality research. The School has benefited immensely from this system. ISB faculty have contributed to the research output from India over the last few years. They have published in over 70 top-tier journals in different management areas. Some of the areas where the ISB faculty have been conducting research and have published are: Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, Finance and Economics, Information Systems, Marketing, and Operations Management.

Services

Housing services

A limited number of rooms are available at the Housing Tower on the ISB campus. The Housing Tower is used for the accommodation of participants who attend short duration executive education programs at ISB. Each HT apartment has 3 bedrooms with attached washrooms, and a shared living room and  kitchen. Guests can avail of campus facilities that include a gymnasium, squash, basketball, badminton and tennis courts, pool and billiards tables and a swimming pool.  The ISB campus also has a banking counter, a convenience store, a book shop and a coffee shop.

Library services

  • A Good Library Is Pivotal To The Growth Of An Educational Institution. The mission of the LRC (Learning Resource Centre) is to support the School in its quest to become an internationally top-ranked, research driven management institute.
  • The School’s LRC is at the heart of the Academic Centre, housed at Bajaj Auto Library at the Indian School of Business.

Campus life

THE INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (ISB) has two state-of-the-art campuses, one in Hyderabad and a new campus in Mohali, which welcomed almost 200 students in April 2012. Located in tranquil settings, both campuses provide an environment that is conducive to learning.

The campuses are self-contained oases in which the students will find that all their needs are met and surpassed by the world-class amenities and facilities.

  • Set amid 260 acres of green, the Indian School of Business (ISB) at Hyderabad welcomes you to a well-equipped campus with world-class facilities.
  • Spread over 70 acres in Knowledge City, the well-equipped ISB campus at Mohali has been set up under the Punjab Government’s leadership.  

Sports facilities

Guests can avail of campus facilities that include a gymnasium, squash, basketball, badminton and tennis courts, pool and billiards tables and a swimming pool. 

Student clubs

The Indian School of Business (ISB) community runs many professional clubs. The clubs give you the chance to apply classroom learning to the outside world. This helps you to gain invaluable leadership as well as life skills. In addition to connecting you with other students who have similar interests, professional clubs are a platform for students to interact with alumni and professionals in their fields of interest. This helps you to build formal and informal networks while exploring career opportunities.
