EHL is a world-renowned hospitality management school. The bachelor's degree lasts 4 years, in which the first year, the 'preparatory year' is a slightly more innovative course with operational classes such as cooking or catering. During these 4 incredible years, you have the chance to attend 2 internships wherever you decide to go in the world (I personally did my first internship at the Ritz Carlton in Montreal, an experience I will not forget). Moreover, the EHL campus is really incredible and it is also brand new, it has just been renovated. Over the 3 years of the bachelor's degree that follows the preparatory year, you have the opportunity to explore EHL's other campuses, such as Passugg, or Singapore (currently under construction). These 3 years are mainly focused on management and finance. In any case, if I can suggest a school in which the campus is fantastic, the social life as well and the classes are very well structured, I would recommend the EHL Hospitality Business School. Not to mention that Lausanne is a very student-oriented and festive city. The opportunities after graduating from EHL are abundant and significant in the world of luxury, finance and hospitality.
As a final-year student at EHL Hospitality Business School, I can genuinely say that my experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. It has not only exceeded my expectations but has also been incredibly insightful and transformative. From the very beginning, what stood out to me was EHL�s strong focus on hands-on learning. This practical approach helped me truly understand how and why things work in the hospitality industry. The knowledge and skills I gained in class seamlessly carried over into my two internships, where I felt confident and well-prepared to contribute meaningfully. It is something beyond my expectations and really worth going to the university
EHL students are a valuable source of fresh inspiration and business expertise for our industry partners. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students offer consulting-style services, conduct research and propose business solutions.
First-year (Preparatory Year) students are required to live on-campus. They are encouraged to live in one of our double occupancy rooms to facilitate their integration and make their travel to and from classes easy and enjoyable. For subsequent years, non-European students are given priority for single rooms, but many students choose to live off-campus, sharing apartments in the city of Lausanne.
The library is able to accommodate 260 students over an area of 900 m²; it houses around 34,000 books and provides access to over 100 databases containing more than 103,000 full text documents. It is part of the Network of Libraries and Information Centers in Switzerland (NEBIS). NEBIS provides access to around 10.5 mio documents.
