The University of Lethbridge Timeline is a project that originates in the University Archives in cooperation with the University Library. It is a chronology of major milestones in the University's history from its origin in 1966 to the present.
Students explore a variety of subjects and discover what they are passionate about while developing the critical thinking and analytical skills that will prepare them for the jobs of the future. At the U of L, there are extraordinary opportunities for students to take their learning beyond the classroom and discover the world. The Office of Research Ethics has the administrative responsibility for oversight and management of the University of Lethbridge research ethics program as it pertains to studies involving human participants and animals, and for ensuring that such research is carried out in accordance with applicable ethics regulations and statutes (provincial, federal and international).

In May 2018, the Dhillon School of Business joined the ranks of the world’s top business schools by achieving accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACCSB) International. Of the 21 publically-funded institutions in Alberta, the Dhillon School of Business is one of three accredited. Only six per cent of business or management schools have AACSB accreditation worldwide.
