Founded in 1964, today the Accademia is among the Top 3 Fashion Schools in the World for its Undergraduate and Graduate Courses in Fashion Design within the prestigious global ranking “The Best Fashion Schools in the World 2019” by The Business of Fashion (BoF).
The Accademia Costume & Moda offers courses legally recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universitied and Research under the body that rules Artistic Higher Education. Culture, Design and Craftmanship linked to a laboratorial approach are the key points of the School’s educational mission; the objective is to help the students start their careers, supporting them in the process of recognising and consolidating their creative identity.
At the end of the curricular path, Undergraduate and Master, our Careers & Placement Office supports the students to find jobs, monitoring the needs of companies and seeking the right profiles among recent graduates. Students are assisted throughout, from portfolio development, right up to the results of the interviews.
The Accademia has ongoing links with the professional world, many renowned figures in the Fashion and Costume Design sector are former students, who come back to their alma mater to find new, young talents.

Accademia Costume & Moda is housed in an early 20th century building designed by the architect Vincenzo Fasolo. The venue overlooks the Tiber river and it is located in front of Castel Sant’Angelo, few steps away from Piazza Navona, in the heart of Rome. It guests large classrooms with tables for design, laboratories, wide windows and panoramic terraces.

It's a horrible experience because the programme of my studies it's old and a lot of things are no available in our days when everything has developted.I'm also sad because we had no practice and the teachers aren't interested in doing something for your progress.
