Wittenborg has two types of student tutor support systems, one for academic issues and one for non-academic issues. The University has an open door policy which means that students find all staff easily accessible during office hours on the days they are working. Also Wittenborg Online and Office365 make it easy for students to contact the correct staff member about any issue. Wittenborg is also small enough to allow students to have easy and direct contact with management, if they wish.
Finding accommodation as a student is always an exciting but sometimes daunting task! At Wittenborg we assist our students in finding suitable, local accommodation, often managed by the university. Wittenborg offers shared apartments: 3-5 students share an apartment or house. Wittenborg offers campus accommodation: students have their own room within a campus complex, sharing kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Dutch or other EU-national students are encouraged to find their own accommodation, however, they can opt for Wittenborg’s own accommodation if available.
Wittenborg University has two campuses in Apeldoorn, an Undergraduate Centre and a Postgraduate Centre. Both campuses are also within 10 minutes walking distance from the shopping centre of Apeldoorn, the restaurants, the market, the city hall and all the central facilities the town has to offer, including museums, library, theatres and bars.
The city of Apeldoorn has many facilities for those wanting to participate in organised sports:
Wittenborg Students are active in their own sports group, which organises outside activities such as soccer and basketball in the nearby parks. They make arrangements through a private facebook page for students and staff, which is given to students during their introduction day on starting at Wittenborg.
