The Organization of American States is the world’s oldest regional organization, dating back to the First International Conference of American States, held in Washington, D.C., from October 1889 to April 1890.
For eight years already the OAS and ISS join forces to offer students from OAS member states a scholarship for the MA in Development Studies at ISS. Each year many students applied for these scholarships and we have been able to support close to 30 students over the last 8 years.
The ISS shall provide a one-time tuition waiver of €4,000.
The OAS shall cover a one-time tuition allowance of USD $4,000 to the selected Scholarship Recipients to help defray the cost of tuition only in the first year of study.
Before applying for admission, you are encouraged to read the program description, and ensure that the study area fulfills your expectations and interests. For information about the Institute’s application process for this Program, please visit the Institute’s website.
