Description

For eight years already the OAS and ISS join forces to offer students from OAS member states a scholarship for the MA in Development Studies at ISS. Each year many students applied for these scholarships and we have been able to support close to 30 students over the last 8 years.

The ISS shall provide a one-time tuition waiver of €4,000.

The OAS shall cover a one-time tuition allowance of USD $4,000 to the selected Scholarship Recipients to help defray the cost of tuition only in the first year of study.

Eligibility

  • To apply for an OAS–ISS scholarship, applicants must first be admitted unconditionally to the ISS programme. 
  • Bachelors degree in one of the social sciences or equivalent, comprising at least three years studies at a recognized university or institute of higher education.
  • Applicants must have obtained at least class 2.2 (Lower Second), B or equivalent, but preferably class 2.1 (Upper Second), B+ or equivalent.
  • IELTS score: 6.5 overall for the Academic Test.
