Applicants for admission to the Education Specialist degree in Counseling must have an earned master’s counseling degree from an accredited college or university
If applicants completed their counseling degree more than 6 years ago, the CES program will review the applicant’s record and consider age of coursework, changes in content, changes in standards, etc. Additionally, applicants will be evaluated based on their current licensure as counseling practitioners and their compliance with continuing education requirements for licensure/licensure renewal in their counseling specialty.
