The Theater - Acting full-time master’s degree at Temple University is specifically tailored for professional theater actors who aspire to develop and enhance their artistic growth. The intimate program provides classical training based on the conservatory model. You’ll learn from faculty members who are committed to your personal development as an actor and the evolution of American theater and film. 

Future Career

The program is primarily focused on training working mid-career professionals in the theater industry. Many of our graduates are working in television, film, regional theater, off-Broadway, and Broadway and as instructors and professors in higher education.

Many graduates of the Acting MFA have pursued careers in film and television, as well as on and off Broadway.
