The Biomedical Sciences (Life Sciences) at The University of Edinburgh includes seminars, taught modules and two research projects in our world-recognised research laboratories.
We will also cover a range of valuable transferable skills including:

- learning how to write a project grant application and literature review
- data presentation and statistical analysis

Research projects
- After core skills week, you will choose a research theme and meet supervisors and discuss the research projects available. A diverse choice of projects is offered specifically to provide experience in a wide range of experimental techniques and research laboratories.
- You will also study a taught component connected to this theme. This will comprise seminars, workshops, journal clubs, lab meetings, presentations and tutorials.
