Description
The L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant Program is made possible through a generous endowment gift from the late L. Austin Weeks. Created to support the educational expenses of undergraduate geoscience students and their departments, the program has helped students worldwide.

Benefits
The AAPG Foundation's L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant program annually awards deserving undergraduate level geoscience students and student-led geoscience associations with $500 grants. Thanks to generous contributors, including L. Austin Weeks and Marta Weeks-Wulf, the Foundation will proudly grant over $85,000 in funds to geoscience students and student associations annually.
Eligibility
- If you are an undergraduate student in your sophomore, junior or senior year, studying a field of geoscience full-time at a four-year accredited college or university, you are eligible for the L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant program.
- Undergraduate geoscience student associations including AAPG Student Chapters and other undergraduate student-led geoscience clubs or associations are also eligible to receive funds.
